Who/What is Ember and Antler Outdoors?

My name is Jake Arlt. I'm from a Utah, and a full-time firefighter and a part-time electrician, but above all, I'm an outdoorsman.

I've been obsessed with the outdoors for as long as I can remember. Everything I watched, read, or spent my time doing revolved around the outdoors. I loved being outside, camping, fishing, getting dirty, and watching every show under the sun that involved something, with the wild. Unlike many hunters, though, I didn't grow up in a hunting family. While I had neighbors and friends whose families hunted, it wasn't part of my own upbringing.

At 12 years old, my parents helped me complete  myHunters Education, and that's where my hunting journey began.

The early years were filled with challenges. As a kid, I relied on others to take me hunting whenever I drew a tag. Naturally, the people who took me along were focused on filling their own tags first. Success was hard to come by, but those experiences taught me patience and persistence.

Everything changed once I was old enough to drive. I began studying maps, reading books, and learning from every experienced hunter I could.

One season, a friend drew a Utah mule deer tag and asked for my help. Looking back, that hunt was a turning point. We located bucks, made opportunities happen, and eventually harvested a small two-point buck. For the first time, I saw my preparation pay off. I learned that success in hunting isn't luck—it's the result of hard work, sacrifice, and embracing challenges.

For years, I talked about building something bigger within the outdoor industry. I knew I wanted to create a business, but I never knew where to start. Eventually, I stopped waiting and took the leap. With a single social media video, Ember and Antler Outdoors LLC was born.

Since then, growing the brand has been challenging, but the progress has been steady. Every follower, every customer, and every supporter has helped move the vision forward.

At Ember and Antler Outdoors, we have three goals:

1• Create high-quality apparel that represents the outdoor community.

2• Produce captivating, educational, and authentic outdoor media.

3• Give back to everyday outdoorsmen and women, while supporting causes that make our communities and wild places better.

Our company is built on four core values: Faith, Perseverance, Integrity, and the belief that hard work overcomes anything. And with that comes our slogan,
"Do what you love for those who can't". This is based on the premise that if you're an able bodied, healthy person, waiting for something to happen, to get up off your butt and do what you love even when its hard. Because there are those who would give anything to be able to do what we do. But they are limited because of they're health or their financial situation, or something else that keeps them from doing what they love. So if you can't do it for yourself, do it for them.

Ember and Antler Outdoors isn't just another outdoor brand—it's a community built for those who are willing to put in the work, embrace the challenge, and pursue their passion for the outdoors. Something you'll be proud to wear and represent.

We're in the beginning stages of all this, but the only way is forward.

Thank you for being part of the journey.
